 HEA is a fund raiser program I’ve started ever since my boys and I crawled out of our own financial nightmare to help those who are in dire need of help. 

Every penny earned from this auction will go to support HEA, the fundraiser responsible for helping out families during this difficult, economic crisis. Whether it be covering school supplies or the price for books for a family’s children in grade school, middle school, junior or high school, or keeping the electricity on when it is almost 100 degrees outside, or buying shoes for three adorable children when their father’s hours have just been cut back. Or worse even yet, he’s been laid off. We believe everyone has a right to have an HEA in their life.

 WHO NEEDS HEA?

Recently I’ve heard the stories from a few good folks, people who have always worked hard, who have good kids, and who have put their sweat and blood into their homes over the years to make it nice for them. These are families who built up equity in their homes then were forced to live off of it when a spouse lost a job. These are neighbors, like you and me, who no longer have the savings to replace a bad air conditioner. These are also people who can’t afford the gas to drive to and from work.

Times are hard. People who have been with the same job for twenty-five years are being laid off. Folks with health insurance offered by their job can’t get medical help because they don’t have the deductible. Less and less families are taking summer vacations every year.  

Let’s do what we can to keep the HEA in our lives and ensure it always means HAPPILY EVER AFTER!
